FOTZ in a non-profit organization dedicated to the improvement and development of the Topeka Zoo. Our staff is made up of volunteer Board and a dedicated staff of 2 full time employee's and 5 part time employee's.

Description:
FOTZ promotes and markets the Zoo to achieve common goals. We serve as an educational resource for our public and members, we encourage and promote conservation of endangered species and we sponsor special events and fund raising mechanisms to allow FOTZ and the zoo to continue to be valuable assets to the community.

History:
FOTZ was established in 1964 to provide support to the Topeka Zoo. A membership based organization, FOTZ has approximately 5000 member households.
