The Veterans Affairs Medical Center has a need for volunteers to assist in the MRI waiting room. Duties would include: • Greeting veteran patients • Providing paperwork to be filled out by patient • Calling the MRI staff when paperwork is completed Schedule / Time Varies
Volunteer must attend and clear: • New Volunteer Orientation • Tuberculosis Testing • Fingerprinting • Background Checks. Note: All requirement costs are paid for by the facility. Must be able to work with veterans with a variety of illnesses including psychiatric issues.

The main entrance to the VA Medical Center is located on Gage Blvd one block South of 21st & Gage. The volunteer office is located on the east side of the facility and can be reached by taking the perimeter road. When you see the gazebo, you are close to Building 24. Look for the green awning over the east door. Voluntary Service is located inside that door. Once inside, take the hallway to your left; we are room A120.
