Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Assist Midland Hospice staff with completion of various clerical and/or administrative tasks:

1. Perform light clerical duties: photocopying, folding, collating, or stuffing envelopes.
2. Share musical talents at Hospice House or Adult Day Center.
3. Data entry on computers or typing jobs as assigned.
4. Answer phones, transfer calls, and/or take messages.
5. Offer the perspective of a volunteer on a Committee.
6. Assist the House Parent at our Hospice House.

Volunteers must be 14 years of age, submit record of annual TB test. Complete required volunteer paperwork, maintain standards of confidentiality, and be able to provide their own transportation. Volunteer must complete Midland Care Basic Orientation, and attend two continued education in-services per year.

Directions:

Take I-70 to the Gage exit and head South to 6th Street. Turn left onto 6th Street and go to the next street East which is Frazier Drive and take another left going North. At 3rd and Frazier you'll reach a T intersection, which begins our private drive. Turn left as the sign directs and follow the circle drive. Building A is the Administrative offices and where the Volunteer Department is located, Building B houses our CARE program, and Building C is where our Hospice House and Respite Services are located.   Nearest Bus Stop: 6th and Frazier, 5 minute walk
