Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Trained volunteers provide regular, supportive telephone conversations once a week with adults who are one the waiting list for Compeer One-to-One. Conversation centers on common interests or weekly events. It is another way for volunteers to help people with mental illness fight feelings of loneliness and isolation.

We ask that volunteers be able to give 15 minutes to one half hour per week talking on the phone with their match. Volunteers must demonstrate an ability to listen and be supportive. Training is provided.
