Casa For Children Of Monmouth County
CASA for Children is a nonprofit, charitable organization which works through professionally trained and supervised volunteers to promote the welfare of foster children in Monmouth County who have been removed from their homes due to extreme parental abuse, neglect or abandonment. CASA serves as the child's "voice in court" to insure that needed services and assistance are provided, while helping to move toward a safe and permanent home.
History:
CASA was started in Seattle by a judge in 1977. The doors in Monmouth County were opened in 2004 and have been serving children ever since.
