Our mission at United Way is to mobilize the caring power of our community to improve local lives.
Description:
Focusing on the Root Cause of Problems! Today's United Way focuses on what matters most to communities, addressing the underlying causes of community issues - why problems exist. United Way programs are not just "stop gap" measures, but ultimately preventative ones that create real and lasting change. JOIN US! We're always looking for new people to join our united effort. By making a caring donation or by volunteering, you can take an active role in keeping our community a great place to live and work.
History:
Uniting our Community! United Way's dedicated Board, staff, and community volunteers recognize that no single group can address the complex problems that matter most to a community. That's why United Way works with other local organizations and community leaders to assess pressing issues, set goals and measure results every step of the way.
