Volunteer Opportunity Details:

If you are looking to volunteer in an agency that appreciates it's volunteers and offers opportunities which meet your needs, abilities and interests, you've come to the right place! Our volunteers are appreciated by Odyssey staff members as well as by the patients and their families.

We offer all our volunteers rewarding opportunities to use their talents and skills to help enhance a patient and/or family member's life.

The opportunities are endless and may include reading the newspaper, playing cards, discussing shared interests, helping prepare a meal, light housework, running errands for a family member, creating a craft, whatever appeals to you and our patient! Visits may be made in the patient's home, nursing home or assisted living facility, depending on your preference.

We are open to a variety of ways to include your talents and interests in providing comfort to our patients in their final chapter of life.

There is a flexible training session, which is require of all our volunteers who have direct patient contact. This training may be done in your home, at our office or at another convenient location during flexible hours designed to accommodate your schedule.
