Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to receive initial and on-going training and be court-appointed as a "Guardian" for an incapacitated person who has no family or friends who are able or willing to serve. As "Guardian," volunteers will be responsible for making very important life decisions for the ward.

Volunteers are subject to a personal and criminal background review, including fingerprinting. Volunteers are provided initial and on-going training by Volunteer Guardianship One-on-One, Inc. and receive training leading to national certification as a "Registered Guardian."
