We believe that humans have the ability and the responsibility to provide all animals in our society with existence that is as peaceful and respectful as possible.

Friends Of The Animals will give many thanks to those individuals who donate their time, ideas, and special talents.

Here are some suggestions on how to help:

*Evening and weekend volunteers during open business hours.

*Grooming the dogs and cats

*Those who are have general handyman skills to help with projects to help improve our shelter.

*Walking the dogs in the evening and on the weekends

*Spending time with special needs animals

*General cleaning(sweeping,moping,laundry,dishes,cleaning dog and cat kennels etc.)

*Helping with fundraisers and special events OR if you have an idea feel free to share it with us.We love suggestions!

History:
Friends Of The Animals was formed in August of 2001. We opened our doors on May of 2003 and by six months adopted out over 775 animals. We are a non-profit, 501c3 organization. Committed to the animals we strive to promote humane principles,preventing cruelty,and alleviating the pain and the suffering of animals. Friends of The Animals works with surrounding towns and the rural community to provide animal control and the welfare of animals.
