Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The UI DeGowin Blood Center is looking for volunteers to assist with the blood drives conducted at the UI Residence Halls. DeGowin is in the process of developing a student organization with this goal in mind. There will be an informational session about our organization early in the Spring semester. Look for us at the Volunteer Fair of January 28 at the IMU. Directions:

The DeGowin Blood Center is located in the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clincs. It is located on the second floor of General Hospital. Take Elevator B to second floor and take a quick right and travel down the west hallway. The DeGowin Blood Center is located about 2/3 of the way down the hall on the left side. There is a DeGowin sign hanging from the ceiling.   Nearest Bus Stop: Take a Cambus, Pentatcrest, Red, or Blue Route and get off at the VA loop. Take the stairs up the hill and enter through the entrance across from Ramp I. Take Elevator BW to 2nd Floor, look left and the DeGowin Blood Center is right there., 2 minutes from bus stop minute walk
