To provide high quality care and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, as well as a support system for families.

Description:
The Ark is a private, non-profit center located in Cross of Christ Lutheran Church.
Our center operates with a Director who has formal training in early childhood education.
There is a Management Committee along with the Church Council that oversees the financial and overall responsibility of The ARK. The committee is made up of 7 to 9 volunteers that come from The ARK parents and the Cross of Christ congregation.
We provide care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm.
As a ministry of the church, The ARK provides financial assistance through a scholarship fund to help those with financial needs.

History:
The Ark at Cross of Christ Child Care has been in operation since 1994. Most of the teachers at the Ark have been teaching at the site for approximately 10-13 years.
