Great Starts Birth & Family Education

Great Starts Birth & Family Education offers community-based education programs to enable parents to make informed choices about family issues and health care during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood.

Description:
Great Starts is dedicated to educating families on early parenting issues, such as pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, safety and sibling preparation. We provide classes for new and expectant parents; teacher education workshops for childbirth educators; seminars for new parents and healthcare providers about childbirth and parenting issues; current information in our book, Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn.

History:
Great Starts Birth and Family Education has been educating and supporting new families since 1956. We offer classes in the community and are affiliated with the following hospitals: Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center, Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound and Stevens Hospital.
