Music Center of the Northwest nurtures excellence, creativity, community, and personal growth through musical participation, and is dedicated to providing this to any and all who seek it.

Description:
Music Center of the Northwest is the only community music school located in Seattle, WA. Musical opportunities available at Music Center include private lessons, workshops, classes and performance opportunities in voice, piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, chamber music, guitar, recorder, theory/composition, early music, jazz improvisation and orchestra. Music Together, a nationally recognized musical development program, is offered for infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers and their parents. Fifty percent of Music Center students are adults who have come back to music and the instruments they studied in school.

History:
Founded in 1989, Music Center is Seattle's community music school, drawing students from the greater Seattle area. Music Center serves more than 1000 people each year through their educational offerings and concert series.
