The mission of Tallmadge Hamilton House is to involve and empower seniors in our community by offering support to maintain their health and well being, provide peer interaction and explore opportunities that reinforce independence and enrich their quality of life.
Description:
Tallmadge Hamilton House is located in the University District of Seattle. We strive to help seniors lead fuller lives by improving their mental and physical health, enriching their minds, supporting the independence and preventing isolation. We offer a wide variety of activities, ranging from how-to and self-improvment classes to discussion and support groups, arts and crafts, computer technology, social services and counseling as well as lunch Monday -Friday every week.
History:
Tallmadge Hamilton House is the oldest senior center in the Pacific Northwest. It was started 47h years ago by several charitable organizations one of which was the University Kiwanis Club who continue to support us today. We are an independent IRS qualified non-profit organization.
