Position title: Board Treasurer
Description: We are looking for an individual who has experience in accounting or finance to serve in the role of Treasurer on our Board of Trustees. The qualified individual should also have a general interest in the environment and/or the arts. This individual will work with the Executive Director on budgeting and financial reporting.
Type of board position: Board of Directors
The process for selecting or nominating members: Meet first with the Executive Director and then attend a board meeting to present your qualifications, connect with board members and observe the meeting (meetings held 10 times/year). Decisions made after candidate attends board meeting, fills out application and current board members discuss and approve the candidate.

Additional information about this position: We are a very fun, active organization with a lot going on - from our Youth Art Program to our Urban Forest Restoration Project in the West Duwamish Greenbelt to our founding project, the annual Arts in Nature Festival.
Board meetings are very lively and always include dinner and beverages.
