Wonderland Developmental Center seeking board members! |
| Description: |
|
Wonderland Developmental Center is seeking individuals with nonprofit board experience to join the Board of Directors to lead the organization in this exciting time for the future of early childhood intervention. Wonderland serves very young children ages birth to three years with developmental delays and disabilities and their families; we are the only birth-to-three center serving north King county, and one of only two serving south Snohomish county. Our mission is to optimize the development of infants and children toddlers through therapy, instruction, parenting education and support wherever children live, learn and play and to effect positive change in their lives and the lives of their families. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting a successful start in life for all children, the betterment of the entire community, and who represent a broad spectrum of the community we serve. Ideally, our board members should live or work within our service area (current boundary: 65th St in Seattle spanning from the locks to Lake Washington heading north to Lynnwood & as far east as I-405 in the Bothell/Woodinville region).
