Our current Treasurer has notified us that she wishes to resign and so we are looking to replace her. Experienced and first time board members are welcome. We are looking for someone with CPA skills, as well as a PASSION for making a difference in peoples lives in rural areas of developing countries is absolutely critical. Experience with micro-enterprise development, micro-finance, skills development, women's empowerment or product development or marketing would also be helpful.

Please send your resume to Robert Bortner. We should then schedule a call to get to know each other and ask each other questions. If you'd like to speak to other board members, we can arrange that. If it's near the time of a board meeting, you might attend that to observe and ask questions. Mr. Bortner will then present your credentials to the other board members for either a vote or, if they wish, to talk to you one on one. |

The board is quite informal and the role is evolving. Although many current board members are quite engaged with day-to-day operations we hope to shift more and more executive functions from the Founder/Director (who also currently serves as the President) to the board. |
