The board of directors meets every other month and as needed. The board provides support and guidance for the administrator of Greenwood Home. The home is funded through DSHS Aging & Disability Services, and all of the residents are on a "Core Waiver" that funds their ongoing needs.
As a board member, attending the board meetings is required. We also keep up a memorial garden that is used by the residents and has been created by the board, family and friends of Greenwood Home. It is a small part of the yard that is well developed to provide sensory stimulus for the blind and hearing impaired.
