The Borgen Project is in the early phase of assembling a Finance Committee. The Finance Committee is designed for individuals who have time constraints, but are interested in serving. Members can largely determine the extent of their involvement. The finance committee operates separate from the Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities • Advance the mission of The Borgen Project.
- Actively promote the mission of The Borgen Project, contributing ideas and expertise.
- Keep up-to-date on developments in The Borgen Project’s field.
- Be informed about The Borgen Project’s mission, operations, policies, and programs; inform others about The Borgen Project.
• Personally raise or donate $2,000 a year. • Two or three times annually visit The Borgen Project’s office or attend conference calls with the President of the organization to stay informed and provide strategy advice. • Follow conflict-of-interest and confidentiality policies. Elected by: Board of Directors Term Length: One year, with the option to extend. Reports to: The President of The Borgen Project. Budget support: Raise or donate $2,000 annually.
