Position title: Member, Board of Trustees
Description: The Children’s Museum, Seattle, one of the top 10 children’s museums in the country, seeks to expand its board of trustees with experienced and passionate individuals. Experience in fundraising, marketing, early childhood education, finance and human resources are desired. Candidates with deep ties to the Puget Sound region’s corporate and philanthropic communities are especially welcome.

The process for selecting or nominating members: Interested candidates are vetted by the board development committee, and interviewed by a small group of trustees and the executive director.

o Previous nonprofit board experience
o Commitment to the mission of the Children’s Museum, Seattle and to supporting early childhood education
o Experience and comfort with fundraising
