Position title: Board Connections Position
Description: We seek individuals who are passionate about our mission to teach young people to write and because of this passion will contribute with enthusiasm to our fund-raising initiatives. These are primarily focused on filling tables for our two annual events. We are a working board who value our time together and skilled, smart members. Currently we are seeking to add three members and within them want to increase the ethnic diversity of our board and are also seeking a person for our Treasurer position.

Additional information about this position: Ours is an informal board that has a great deal of fun while taking our mission and work seriously. People should only consider who truly want to roll up their sleeves.

We are primarily interested in people who are connected in the community and have the ability to fill tables with donors who can connect with our mission.

Our organization is considered to be hip and quirky and board members must appreciate this to do their best work.
