Position title: Board Position: Auction Committee Chair
Description: Community for Youth's mission is to inspire and support youth to identify and achieve their goals through mentoring, learning experiences, and participation in a powerful community.

This is an exciting time to join Community for Youth's board. We currently have a 12 member board and would like to collectively bring the experience, commitment, leadership and resources for the successful accomplishment of Community for Youth's mission and goals.

We are looking for board members with experience in fund raising and event planning to coordinate staff, board, and volunteer efforts for our primary annual fund raiser, a gala auction on January 30th 2010 at the Marriott. Veteran staff and board members will provide extensive support throughout the auction preparation period.

  1. Prospective board member meets with ED and an exisiting Board member.
  2. Prospective board member is invited to attend a board meeting.
  3. Prospective board member is invited to attend a program activity.
