Join us for our After-School Tutoring program! Help children with their homework, literacy, math skills, and social skills at our free after-school program for kids. Provide support as a tutor during our homework time and join in as a role model and friend during the enrichment activities and games. This position can be renewed on a quarterly basis, and meets during the school year Mondays - Thursdays,from 3:30 - 5:30. Volunteers are asked to commit to one day per week. Get involved as a tutor. Youth volunteers are welcome.
We will provide a 1-2 hour tutor training. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, can offer the patience and support that tutoring requires, and is able to get to and from our Center. The minimum age for this opportunity is 15 years old.
