Assists the Tukwila Police Department Traffic Division with handicap parking violations, abandoned vehicles and speeding regulations. Specific duties include: Patrol parking lots for handicap parking violations; issue notice of infraction for handicap violations; issue warnings for abandoned vehicles left on city streets; reports vehicles that need to be impounded; places the speed trailer at various locations throughout the City of Tukwila. Must be at least 21 years old. Must possess a valid driver's license with no driving infractions. Must be able to pass a criminal background check conducted by Tukwila Police. All applicants will be interviewed by the Tukwila Chief of Police or his designee to determine if eligible for this volunteer opportunity.
