Tukwila Parks & Recreation is looking for volunteers to coach youth basketball. Volunteer coaching positions for kids Kindergarten through High School. Volunteers must be available for weekly practices and games. Each coach must register as a City of Tukwila volunteer, and successfully pass a background check prior to being allowed to coach. The time commitment is approximately 6 hours/week (December 2009-February 2010). Team practices begin in December and games begin in January.
Make a difference as a mentor.
Coaches are also required to go through a Youth Sports Coaching Certification on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The minimum age for this opportunity is 18 years old.  This opportunity is sponsored by: City Of Tukwila Volunteer Program
