If you have a science and/or education background and would like to work with our education team to conduct ½ day inquiry field science education field trips at Seward Park for area 6th – 12th grade students and special groups, this is the volunteer job for you. Help us teach about and conduct research and experiments in biological sampling, water quality testing, ecosystem and watershed concepts, and other field science. This position is available during the school year and will be slightly physically demanding and prone to inclement weather conditions; however, it will also be lots of fun! Volunteer must participate in an annual training as well as other training opportunities. The ideal candidates have a background in ecology and/or education and a willingness to learn. The minimum age for this opportunity is 18 years old.
