Number of Positions: 1 for each class (if available; twice a week) Requirements: Fluency in English and Cantonese OR Vietnamese. Position Hours: Tuesday and/or Thursday 9:00-11:00 AM In this position, you will engage in the following activities/roles/tasks: Assist teacher by providing individual help to students, answering questions, and other classroom activities. Provide some informal translation of instruction or materials. Class is taught by experienced volunteer or professional instructor. Some training and orientation will be provided. Excellent chance to learn more about teaching English.
These positions require fluency in English and Cantonese OR Vietnamese. The volunteer must be at least 18 years old. The volunteer must commit to 3 months or 1 quarter of service.
