Number of Positions: 5-10 Position Hours: 4-8 hours within M-F 10:00 AM-2:00 PM (lunch provided) Club Bamboo is a brand new activity and meal program working to enhance the well-being of Asian and Pacific Islander older adults. Provide overall assistance to the Club Bamboo kitchen staff, in assuring quality meals and service. Assist with food service operations, clean the dining area and wash kitchen utensils to ensure that requirements for appropriate sanitation & safety Washington State Health Code regulations are met, refrigerate/freeze, label, date and store any usable items, and be pro-active in helping to maintain the kitchen in a clean, organized and well run manner.
Requirements: Strong communication/organization skills, patience, willing to work in a team environment, and current food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain. Asian language skills a plus. Age Requirement: 16 Duration Requirement: 3 months/1 quarter
