Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Starlight Children’s Foundation of Washington is a chapter of a national and an international charity that helps seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.

Starlight-WA seeks a volunteer with a professional background and strong marketing and business development skills to assist in the creation and execution of our marketing strategy, including assisting in developing cause marketing opportunities with area businesses. Specific duties will be discussed during interviews but include the following: updating materials, researching and targeting potential business partnerships, directly approaching new businesses on behalf of Starlight for cause marketing and fundraising opportunities.

Knowledge and experience in business development and/or sales, ability to take initiative and work independently on projects—act as a liaison for Starlight by providing Marketing/PR information to media, Starlight partners, donors, volunteers and the public at large.
