Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Many of the big trees in Ravenna Park are dying, and there is very little natural regeneration of young trees due to invasive plants. We remove invasive plants, primarily ivy and blackberry, and plant trees and shrubs to restore and maintain a healthy and diverse forest in Ravenna Park. The outdoor exercise is invigorating and satisfying. You also have the opportunity to learn to identify some native plants, as well as the invasive ones. Join us. Wear sturdy shoes that can get muddy, wear layers and bring water This opportunity is sponsored by: Friends Of Ravenna Ravine
