We serve the residents and their children which are mainly immigrant and refugee families from all over the world. Our after-school program called Homework Factory has become very popular and we need one on one tutors to help our children be successful in school. The children are motivated by knowing that caring adults are there beside them. Take I-5N and take exit 177 toward Lake Forest Park
Stay to the right on this exit to go toward Lake Forest Park.
When you get off the ramp, continue on Ballinger Way and go straight. You will go through a light, past a shopping center (Thriftway/Subway…) on your left and McDonalds will be on your right. Continue through another light at 19th Ave NE
There will be a Mexican Restaurant Shop on your right and a Chevron on your left. After this light Ballinger Homes is the next possible left turn. There is a small sign but it is often hard to see – there are two big power lines and a bus stop a the entrance. Turn into Ballinger Homes and drive down the driveway – past the apartments until you can’t drive anymore. The buildings in front of you are office buildings. Facing them, KCHA is on your right and the Family Center is on your left. Park in any space marked office. If none are available, park in any spot and then come inside and tell a staff member who will get you set up.
