Do you love being on a farm? Would you like to help us take care of chickens, roosters, geese, cows, horses, pigs, goats, and many others? Read below about one of our volunteers....... Lynda has been a volunteer sanctuary caretaker for years. She comes religiously to feed all of the farm animals and then puts them to bed in their stalls and barns. She knows every animal and trust us, every animal knows her. She brings kernel corn for the chickens and you can watch the hens and rooster run to her when she arrives! Babs and Chester, our donkey and blind pony, adore her. Every animal does. Lynda comes no matter what the weather and if it gets dark at 4:20 in the wintertime, she works in the dark, wearing a headlight. We are so moved to know so many amazing people with such generous souls.
We have an online volunteer application and provide an orientation /training. We have a rough terrain and also need people that are comfortable around farm animals. This opportunity is sponsored by: Pasado's Safe Haven
