    5 Overall Experience    Experience rating
As an independent advisor, I have been able to influence organizations at the strategic level that even a board member cannot do.
I have engaged in a half-dozen projects with ESC involving a broad range of agencies in the social services and arts sectors. All of the assignments have been personally rewarding and have seemed to make a significant difference in the top-level operation of the organizations. In the process, I have developed new and valuable skills. The projects have expanded my networking and my involvement in the community, and have served as a valuable complement to my service on several Seattle area nonprofit boards

Great opportunity to give back and use my experience and skills
I have worked with ESC as a volunteer consultant for more than 3 years. I've had a chance to work with a variety of clients in arts and social services where I've both learned how work in the nonprofit sector and contributed in a meaningful way to the success of the organizations I worked with.

I have rarely experienced so much satisfaction from leveraging my skills
I worked with another volunteer executive to assist two small, but growing Nonprofits: Mavin Foundation which dedicates itself to understanding and supporting mutiracial issues, and OWN which aspires to advance its One World NOW philosophy by teaching underprivileged youth leadership skills, foreign languages accompanied by a summer abroad experience.
