Guests to our food bank begin lining up bright and early, and we need someone who enjoys people and can work in an ethnically diverse environment to provide a friendly, engaging presence to those who are waiting in line. Hand out numbered tickets, answer questions, and as the winter months approach, provide hot coffee. A commanding presence, good verbal skills, and be friendly/personable. The ideal candidate must be patient but firm, and able to diffuse arguments with a smile. Good mediating skills, fair-minded, and a strong, commanding voice when necessary. Nicely dressed and well groomed, as you will be representing St Vincent de Paul. Must be willing to commit to one 3 hour shift per week. This opportunity is sponsored by: St Vincent De Paul Food Bank
