Our Food Bank Sorters separate non-perishable goods into bins, organizes food into like-items, and oversees basic food supplies. Food Sorters also inspect, accept or reject, and repackage perishable items like fruit and vegetables. Food Sorters may also wash and trim certain fruit and vegetables. Be able to comfortably lift 10-20 pounds, be able to stand on your feet, and enjoy organization. Food Sorters are welcome to help any Monday, Wednesday, Friday anytime between 9am and 5pm. An occasional Saturday can also be scheduled. This opportunity is sponsored by: St Vincent De Paul Food Bank
