We are looking for a volunteer to pickup donated auction items for our Tenth Annual Mad Hatter Tea Party Party. The Mad Hatter Tea Party is our largest annual fundraiser and critical to supporting our life-changing parent education and family support programs. We need your help to make this fundraiser a success! We need a volunteer to pickup auction items on a weekly basis around the city of Seattle. The volunteer will receive emails (or calls if they prefer) from Parent Trust's Development Coordinator who will keep the volunteer informed of items that need to be picked up and where. The Coordinator will tell the pickup person all the details and the pickup person will retrieve the item and bring it to Parent Trust's office. All items picked up will be used in the auction portion of the Mad Hatter Tea Party. The Mad Hatter Tea Party is a one-of-a-kind event that features silent and live auctions with Auctioneer John Curley, a light luncheon, entertainment, and children’s activities. This year, over 350 guests will enjoy visiting with the friendly Alice In Wonderland characters, becoming spellbound by Louie Foxx the magician and getting creative at the Children’s Creation Stations. Bill Gates, Sr. will also be attending and honored with the Children’s Champion Award. More information about the event can be found at www.madhatterteaparty.org. Please note that unfortunately we will not be able to reimburse the volunteer for gas.
