Are you a high school student in the Seattle area needing to complete service learning hours? Join VFA's brand new program: VFA Service Corps! With VFA Service Corps, you will work with your team of other high school students to create a fun and exciting afterschool program for kids in grades 1st through 6th. As a team you will get to hang out and learn about different issues affecting Seattle and the world! Earn extra hours through community service projects that you get to choose! The program starts with an orientation on October 24th in the morning. Mondays will be team meetings, the afterschool program will run Tuesday through Thursday, and community service projects will take place throughout the semester.

- Be committed to:
o Meeting weekly as part of a team o Working with kids in VFA's afterschool program that runs from Tuesdays-Thursdays from 4-5:30. (Service Corps members will need to come at 3:30) o Learning about issues in the community and world o Attending orientation on October 24th!
