Be Music to Our Ears Working to spread Art and Culture in our community

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on October 8, 2009

The Hearthstone Retirement Community at Green Lake is a continuing care community dedicated to seniors. Over 150 seniors live, play and worship here. Your musical talent on the piano and/or organ would greatly enhance our Sunday night Vespers service. We meet in the chapel from 7-8 p.m., and are looking for someone who could accompany our singing (3 Sundays on, followed by 3 Sundays off). In exchange you could play our Steinway Grand, enjoy reserved parking and dinner before service, and receive our undying gratitude.

The only requirement is an ability and desire to play sacred music. John Clauson, our Chaplain, would be happy to give you a tour, answer questions and work with you on Sunday evenings.

This opportunity is sponsored by: the Hearthstone
