Volunteer Opportunity Details:

In the volunteer role of Event Coordinator/Impresario you will plan and implement a series of conversation events to ignite the dialog and creativity for members of Next Chapter Puget Sound. You’ll be a leader in designing a strategy to boost communication, utilizing formal and informal networks to spread the word. You’ll work collaboratively with a team to implement the strategic plan that will lead to relevant dialog for Next Chapter Puget Sound members.
DUTIES:
Lead a team in the development and implementation of a community conversation strategy.
Define relevant methods for creating community dialog
Recruit a group of volunteers to collaborate on design and implementation
Select an manage conversation venues throughout the region
Market events via the consortium membership and other relevant outlets for the target audience
Devise a method for continuous feedback to/from conversation participants
Maintain and publish event schedule

This is an ongoing volunteer leadership position for a skilled individual who knows or is willing to expand their knowledge in service to our organization. 15 hrs/ month commitment is expected.
