The cornerstone of the Next Chapter Puget Sound strategy is the establishment of a relevant web presence with compelling content and information that keeps ‘em coming back to learn more. With the development and implementation of a robust web strategy in support of Next Chapter Puget Sound’s purpose, experienced adults will connect with the resources they need to activate their passions and build their skills leading to meaningful work and service. Your design of a strategic content plan that facilitates proactive presence via the site will produce interaction among organizations in our consortium and our membership at the grass roots level.

DUTIES:
Share your vision for the design and implementation of a communications strategy in alignment with the vision of Next Chapter Puget Sound
Recruit and lead a collaborative team to design and implement the strategic vision.
Recruit and schedule contributors to post relevant content and capture new audiences
Devise a method for continuous feedback to/from the community of users
Publish a schedule to inform consortium organizations and invite their participation in publication of relevant content

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Knowledge of (or strong desire to learn) strategic communication methods that include web 2.0 and social networking strategies.
  2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Ability to create a strategic plan and bring it to action
  4. Coordinate the work of others on a volunteer team
  5. Meet publishing deadlines
  6. Eagerly learn new skills and share the skills you have with others!
  7. Sense of humor appreciated
  8. Visionaries welcomed
