Please join us for gift wrapping inside the Northgate Mall between Nordstrom's and Macy's. We are in need of many volunteers from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve, Nov. 27 to Dec 24, 2009. Many shifts are available, and we usually need 2-5 folks approximately to work the both. Proceeds will benefit our emergency service fund for local families fighting childhood cancer. Our services to childhood cancer families includes car repair, food, clothing, rent assistance, advocacy, utilities, med ins premiums, just to name a few. Please see our website for more information and our home page for open shifts available, thank you! We will train you, and you must be at least nine years old and able to count money, cut paper, and tie ribbon! You need to stand during your shift. This is a lot of fun and you can get really into the Holiday spirit, some elves last year even wore elf hats! This is an opportunity for your office department, your scout group, your class mates, your senior class community service credits, a family group, your church group etc Please join us! This opportunity is sponsored by: Childhood Cancer Care Line, Giving From the Heart

Overall Experience

Wonderful organization, great cause.

There is nothing better than knowing that you helped a family in need. Being able to put a smile on a child's face, particularly a sick or recovering child, makes you feel like a quality human being. I love helping out! posted on May 31, 2009 |

Overall Experience

My experience has been extremely rewarding with this organization.

I’ve enjoyed my experiences with Childhood Cancer Careline on many levels. As a father I’ve learned to appreciate the time I spend with my family. As a person I’ve learned to respect the lessons life is trying to teach me. It feels great helping in any way I can as a member of this community. The people in this organization make you feel like you’re a part of a larger family. And we have fun. posted by IAN STEPHEN on May 27, 2009 |
