Volunteer Opportunity Details: |
|
Would you like to volunteer, but cannot commit to be an ongoing volunteer? Volunteer Chore Services is seeking on-call moving assistant volunteers to occasionally help an elder or adult with a disability move into a different apartment or house. Individuals and groups are welcome! Volunteers with a truck are helpful, but not necessary.
Many elders and disabled adults in our community have physical limitations, no family or friends to help out, and cannot afford to hire movers. All of our client's moves depend upon volunteers' willingness to devote their time and strength!
If interested and to find out more information, please call 1-888-649-6850 or email VC@ccsww.org
Volunteer Chore Services, a program of Catholic Community Services, is committed to helping low-income elders and adults with disabilities remain independent in their own home.
Volunteers must complete a registration packet, pass a background check, and attend an orientation.

This opportunity is sponsored by: Volunteer Chore Services Of King County
We need volunteers who are free at these times
