Massage Therapist - Out Patient Program

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on August 6, 2009

Bailey-Boushay House is the first facility in the United States designed and built to care for people living with HIV/AIDS. The Out Patient Program is a diverse community comprised of people living with HIV/AIDS, a multi-disciplinary care team and volunteers. We work together to create a safe, supportive environment that nurtures the whole person. Our services are dedicated to those who are disabled and need support to maximize independence and quality of life. We are seeking volunteer licensed massage therapists to provide massage therapy to Out Patient clients. Flexible shifts of 2 to 8 hours per month are available.

Volunteers must be a Licensed Massage Therapist. Volunteers submit a volunteer application; schedule a interview and complete a health screening. Applicants accepted into the program must attend a three hour orientation session.
