Volunteers in food preparation will assist the kitchen staff in preparing meals and snacks for the Child Development Center and the Community Care Center. Dishwashing volunteers will assist with assembling resident trays, serving food, washing dishes, and delivering meals to the dining rooms. A food handlers permit is required for both positions. Proficiency in Spanish and English preferred. Position available M-F 5:45am to 9:00pm, weekends also available. Court-ordered community service volunteers are accepted. Youth volunteers are welcome. Volunteer must attend an information/orientation session. The minimum age for this opportunity is 16 years of age or older. Volunteers are asked to commit to 4hrs/week for 3 months.
