Bank of America is looking for the next generation of community leaders to participate in our Student LeadersProgram.

We firmly believe that investing in future leaders today will help ensure the vitality of our neighborhoods tomorrow. If you are a high school student with a passion for making a difference in your community, we can help turn that passion into action.

As a Bank of America Student Leader, you will:

• Engage in a series of leadership training and community service activities with local Bank of America executives

• Participate in a paid internship in the summer of 2007 with a nonprofit organization that addresses issues of key concern in your community

• Gain hands-on learning and valuable insights into how community organizations work

• Discover firsthand how you can help shape your community — now and in the future

Who is eligible to apply?

High school students currently in their junior or senior year.

You should be able to:

• Demonstrate a clear interest in tackling the crucial issues facing communities today

• Discuss your personal goals and community accomplishments

• Show how you would benefit from a summer internship with a community organization

• Commit to an eight-week paid internship with a community organization in the summer of 2007

We will select 5 high school juniors or seniors from King / Pierce / Snohomish counties to participate, and the program will include:

• A series of leadership training and community service activities with local Bank of America executives

• Participation in a paid internship during the summer of 2007 with a community nonprofit organization

• Hands-on learning and valuable insights into how community organizations work
