As a Bank of • Engage in a series of leadership training and community service activities with local Bank of America executives • Participate in a paid internship in the summer of 2007 with a nonprofit organization that addresses issues of key concern in your community • Gain hands-on learning and valuable insights into how community organizations work • Discover firsthand how you can help shape your community — now and in the future Who is eligible to apply? High school students currently in their junior or senior year. You should be able to: • Demonstrate a clear interest in tackling the crucial issues facing communities today • Discuss your personal goals and community accomplishments • Show how you would benefit from a summer internship with a community organization • Commit to an eight-week paid internship with a community organization in the summer of 2007 We will select 5 high school juniors or seniors from King / Pierce / Snohomish counties to participate, and the program will include: • A series of leadership training and community service activities with local Bank of America executives • Participation in a paid internship during the summer of 2007 with a community nonprofit organization • Hands-on learning and valuable insights into how community organizations work For more information and to apply online, visit the Neighborhood Excellence Initiative section of www.bankofamerica.com/foundation information
