Volunteers Needed for Unite to End Homelessness at the Fremont Fair
Unite to End Homelessness at the Fremont Fair, June 16th and 17th, is a partnership of United Way of King County, Solid Ground and Habitat for Humanity of East King County working together to raise awareness and engage the community in our work to end homelessness. At the Fair, hands-on activities will make it possible for everybody to play a role in ending homelessness. A focal point is the Unite to End Homelessness House Build organized by Habitat for Humanity Affiliates of Greater King County. The House Build will construct a single family house on the fairgrounds in just two days—both a literal home and a powerful symbol of working together to end homelessness. The Unite to End Homelessness House Build is being sponsored by Google and the Master Builders Association.”
