National and Global Youth Service Day April 21st, 2007 Come join hundreds of local youth in a day of service! The King County National & Global Youth Service Day coalition will be sponsoring a variety of projects.  Many local youth service organizations, including Service for Peace, Earth Corps, City Year, and Seattle Works among others, together with Seattle City Parks and Recreation and "Duwamish Alive!" will celebrate this Earth Day weekend by beautifying a number of local parks and green spaces.  Take the link below to the calendar page and from there, sort through the projects on the 21st of April to find the best fit for you.  There are other projects on Earth Day that are not NGYSD projects, be sure to find the ones the reference National Youth Service Day to participate in this event.  https://volunteer.united-e-way.org/uwkc/volunteer/calendar/
