Volunteers Needed - November 13th
On any given day more than 8,000 people will experience homelessness in Seattle/King County. Homelessness is a persistent problem in our region and one that has been identified by our citizens as unacceptable. In 2004, the region launched its Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness in King County. The Community Resource Exchange, a Unite to End Homelessness event, will support the Ten-Year Plan to End Homelessness.
You can help!
On November 13th, at two separate locations in King County, homeless individuals and families will have immediate access to healthcare, housing referrals, public benefits and other social services. The Community Resource Exchange will provide one-stop access to a wide range of services, some of which are not ordinarily or easily accessible to homeless individuals and families.
