The Concord-Merrimack County SPCA is eagerly preparing for our 13th annual “Walk for the Animals”! This event will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Northeast Delta Dental in Concord, NH. This fundraiser assists over 1700 homeless animals in Merrimack County. The funds raised during the Walk make an immense difference in the lives of many homeless animals and people within our community. Adoption and stray fees do not cover the daily cost of food, collars, tags, vaccinations, flea and tick preventative and any additional expenses of veterinary care that often occur. We do not receive any federal or state funding; we rely strictly on donations.
