Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Parkside Neighborhood Center Supper Club hosts a Supper Club on Tuesday night for families.. This evening is a time for families (parents including children) in the Parkside neighborhood to participate in cooking and enjoying a healthy meal, while talking/engaging in activities about topics such as parenting, nutrition, cooking/budgeting, and more topics around healthy parenting and family-bonding. While meals will be provided, each family will get a turn to help plan and cook a meal. We also hope that this will be an opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their children, share ideas about parenting with other parents, and learn more about cooking healthy, low-cost meals for their families.

Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve dinner as well as clean-up afterwards.

Family Supper Club at the Parkside Neighborhood Center is starting on Tuesday, October 6th, and will be held Tuesday nights from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at 85 Grant St.
